Q&A
1, What circulation tubing I need?
The inlet (lower) and outlet (upper) connectors on the condenser has outer diameter of 12mm. Silicon tubing or PVC tubing can be used for circulation. When use PVC tubing, the ID (inner diameter) is recommended to be 12mm. If use silicon tubing, the ID is recommended to be 10mm because it is stretchable.
2, How to set up circulation?
Connect a valve with a pump and the inlet connector on the condenser, or use an adjustable pump so as to change cooling water flow rate. Put back flow tubing into cooling water bucket. Make sure the outlet connector is higher than the water level in the cooling water bucket.
3, How to lubricate the screw connection?
Use cooking vegetable oil and put a small amount on a finger, then wipe the oil on each connection screws including on pot, column, cap, o-rings, and connectors.
